Check - coordinator

We just realized our church's hostess doesn't do any day of work.... So we started scrambling last week to find a coordinator.... First one was 1200, second for 1500, or 1000 if we booked on the spot prior to meeting. FI was not pleased with that pushiness... Then we found one from our town, who wouldn't have to commute, for half the price and the same things. We booked her immediately!! Awesome to know we have 2 people to rely on month-of. Phew!

    Hooray!  Most of the ones in my area are $1,500-$2,500 for day-of.  I found two people at $850 and was so relieved that I actually got to pick someone. 

    I'm stunned by the cost...and many don't include too much in the way of prep meetings.  Most of these people seem to be doing this as a second job.  Even if they just work 30 weddings per year, they're making a boatload of money!

    Congrats on the check! It's such a relief to know you'll have an extra set of hands the day of. We have a month of coordinator and I'm so happy. I was looking at the knot checklist last night and it was such a relief to know that the coordinator would be doing most of the stuff that was on the one month and below list!

    Courtney I totally agree, I already stress and worry over details, so knowing someone who has had her own wedding, and hosted numerous others is in charge, makes me feel so much better.

    BTW - love those shoes and the color!!
