So FI and I are making our own pocketfolds for our invitations. We bought big sheets of paper and we are going to cut them down to size. The thing is.....these sheets are huge. 27.5 x 38
We didn't really think ahead there.......So I heard somewhere along the line, that some places do laser cutting and it is the best because it is the most accurate. But I haven't been able to find a place that does it. Do any of you know anything about laser cutting and where to find it?
Question #2......if we can't find laser cutting, I was thinking of just using a big commercial grade paper cutter, know what I'm talking about? Well the one place that I usually take my copying/printing needs to, only has two paper cutters and the widest they are is 25inches....and I need one at least 27.5. Know of a place with a paper cutter that is at least that wide? Should I just call around?
Question #3......Do you have a better idea of how to cut these down to size? We just need it cut in half, so at 13 inches or so, and then cut into strips of 10inches I think. Once it's down to that size, we can just use our at home cutter. We've tried just scissors and FI tried using his utility knife....but nothing really gets it quite as straight as I'd like. It always turns out a little crooked.
I'd really prefer laser cutting because it would be the easiest and save us a lot of time......but we'll take what we can get.
