Park Wedding?

Has anyone had their reception at San Dieguito Park in Solana Beach or know anyone who has? I am thinking about it for our wedding mainly b/c we are on a very small budget. I looked at the site and it's actually really nice for a park setting.. but wanted to see if anyone has some personal experience?

    I'm getting at one of the park locations in Balboa Park and I had to go through San Diego Parks and Rec to reserve my spot.  You'll probably have to check with the city of Solana Beach to see how you'd have your ceremony there.

    I got married in Kate Sessions park. My advice is #1 Do not use a park on a holiday weekend #2 Definitely pay for the park rental fee. It can get you out of a jam the day of!
