Three day waiting period - is my math right?

Long story short, FI have to get married legally in Seattle before or after going to Maui.  If we get the marriage license on Thursday, it's valid on Sunday, right?  Even at like 6am?  It's not 72 hours, right?

google it for your county. every county is different and it may be 72 hours. also.. the JOP won't be open on a sunday.. i dont know if you're thinking about just running into a courthouse and getting married or have an officient or what, but jsut keep that in mind too!

From the website: http://www.kingcounty.gov/courts/marriage.aspx   I found:

    General information:

    • A Washington marriage license is valid in Washington State only.
    • The application fee is $64.00 cash/money order/cashier's check (personal checks are not accepted).
    • There is a 3-day waiting period before the marriage can take place.
    • A marriage license is valid for 60 days.
    • A blood test or physical exam is not required in Washington State.
    • Mailed applications may be notarized and returned for processing but original application must be submitted (fee must be included and must be money order or cashier's check only).
    • For more information, click on the links below or contact the Recorder's Office at (206) 296-4021.
I would call the Recorder's Office and double check with any questions.

I found this on the "getting married" part of that site:

For example, if an application is made on Wednesday, the first day the marriage license can be used is Saturday

So by that, we can get married on the Sunday if we apply on Thursday.  My sister is probably just going to get ordained online...  stupid visas
