bridesmaid dresses

Im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to buy bridesmaid dresses that are in the $50-75 range, or less If this is possible. Im wondering about catans in strongsville... does anyone know price ranges for this store. I have looked at Davids Bridal but am looking for other options. I have also tried department stores, but since my wedding will be in october the dresses dont seem to be appropriate since they are mosty spring with not many/if any prom dresses that seem to work. Any suggestions will help!

Honestly, I don't think you'll find much at Catan in that range. $100 seems to be the 'magic number'. Have you looked online at Chadwicks yet?

The sizes may be limited, but their prices are good.

I found this, but it's knee length.

Have you considered picking a basic color (black?) or array of colors (fallish) and general style (long skirt, strapless, for example) for the girls to wear and letting them find their own unique dresses?

    Good luck!

Yes, I agree with JKohio that it may be best to choose something like black and let the girls find their own.

Another note, I was in a wedding a few years ago and the groom was a music teacher. At work, he got catalogs of apparel for choirs. The bride ended up finding simple black dresses for us in one of the catalogs. And they did actually cost around $70. Try Googling "choir dress catalogs." I just did and got some promising returns. The material wasn't the best, but since they were black, you can't tell one bit in the photos. It worked out very well.

    Good luck.

Oh, and it's doubtful you'll find something at Catan's. I looked there and didn't find anything under $150 or so. We went with David's Bridal.

If I was you, I would pick out a couple dresses that you like (designer & style #) and then go to netbride.com. You can get a price quote on the dresses there. The dress I am having my girls get was $140 in the store and at netbride it was $93 (including shipping). Hope that helps!!

Target and Amazon both sell bridesmaid dresses in a surprising amount of colors and shapes and decent prices.
