DIY Wire hanger w name?

Hi ladies-

So I wanted to see if anyone here has tried making wire hangers w the names scrolled across the bottom. I've seen a bunch on Etsy and they don't seem tooooo hard to make, but I am the farthest thing from crafty! If anyone has tried (and been successful) at putting these together do you have any tips?

It's really not too hard, although I would buy extra wire to practice. Loew's sells a giant roll of wire for about $6 and then you can buy a 4-pack of the hangers for $5. I am planning on making one for myself and my bridesmaids for only a few dollars each!
