And it wasn't bad! I was kind of nervous after reading so many stories on here from people who ended up paying more for alterations than their dresses. I'm having the back taken in (which involves moving the zipper on the lacy/beaded area of my dress) and 7 bustle pickups put in, for a grand total of $105. The alterations lady was really nice, and she explained exactly what I have to do in terms of timing for getting it steamed since I'm getting married in another state. (I can have DB ship it to my parents, and they take it to a local DB 2 weeks before the wedding).
