      I have been out of power since Tuesday after some bad storms hit Knoxville. On Friday, at around 1am a tornado hit Knoxville. I swear it must have only touched down at my apartment complex because you cannot even tell from the road anything went on. It was only a E0 but my apartment complex still has about 20 extremely large trees down. We couldn't get out of the complex until they cut some of them down later Friday afternoon (because there is just a small entrance to the complex and we are then surrounded by woods and a creek). Fortunately no one was hurt that I know of....the buildings just have really minor damage....but then there is the cars. A tree fell on my fiancés, one of my neighbors, and my car. My car is completely flooded, the front and back windshield are smashed, and the roof and hood are caved in several feet. So basically my car is totalled. His might be salvageable....we are not sure yet.
     Anyway, I went in to school today to write a paper that is due tomorrow and decided to get on the knot out of boredom. I must say I sort of forgot about it for the time being. Looks like I will be returning to cbus sooner than I thought to try to get a car (taxes are ridiculous in TN) and maybe get some wedding planning in.
