Freaking out about BM outfits (vent)

Ever since I first thought about my BM outfits, I wanted a gray/black tweed straight skirt, orange sash (like where an empire waist would be) and white top. I love this. I thought this would be a great idea because they could re-wear everything. I thought it would be so easy to find a simple straight skirt. Wrong!!

I can't find one anywhere that looks decent and comes in all of the sizes I need. I also didn't realize (or accidentally ignored, more like) the fact that a straight skirt isn't universally flattering. But now I've realized the skirt also needs to be high-waisted too to accomodate the sash, and I'm even further from finding a high-waisted A-line than a high-waisted pencil. And everyone says, "We knew it would be this way and you weren't getting it." Yeah, I wasn't getting it, but what do I do now?? I don't think I even have time for a seamstress to make them anymore... the wedding's on 10/21.

What about a nice dress? What if you scrap the idea and just do a dress? Like a black and white dress? You can do a short dress or a long dress and add the orange sash to it. Here are some options:

Get that in black and add the orange sash.

David's Bridal also has separates, so you can choose the bottom or the top and let the girls choose the other part. This could be a good option for you

I HATE David's Bridal. But, in this emergency, I will say go for it. And, it kills me to say that.... UGH!

I like the dresses GAPeach suggested! Also stores like the Limited, New York and Co, Loft, etc all usually carry nice skirts/blouses and since fall fashions are out maybe you will find some tweed stuff there?

Thanks for the help ladies! BUT: great news! I found a color block dress at JC Penney in gray and ivory that I think will work perfectly. This is it:
