I'm so excited. But still trying to determine the colors. Any ideas?

    Date twin! I agree with PP, consider your favorite colors. And when you picture your wedding and reception, what do you see?

    Welcome to the board. I agree with the PP...go with your favorite colors. Ours are Red and Black and usually not associated with summer weddings, but I just love the way they look together and FI just loves how bold they are. Whichever colors you choose, I'm sure it will be great because it will be what you want.

    My date also!  It seems so far away!

    I like the idea of going with either both of your or either of your favorite colors.

    Initially, we were going with our favorite colors but my favorite color is blue and his is red and well, just didn't feel that color combination so we're going with cobalt blue and ivory  (he honestly could care less about the colors).

    May add another lighter color later but that's it for now.

    Congrats! I had trouble picking our colors too- we don't really have favorite colors and I don't even dislike any colors! We wound up with yellow, green, and red. Red is lucky in the Chinese culture and yellow and green were just really bright and sunny and summery to me. Our reception hall is a big whitewashed historical hall in a little village with lots of natural light and hardwood floors so I wanted to stick to a bright and summery palette with an old-fashioned rustic feel to it. Sometimes the venue helps you figure out reception details!
