Sparkler Exit

We are planning on having a sparkler exit at the end of our reception. Our reception will end around 10:30 - can't be later than 11 due to a noise ordinance.

Do you think we should put this somewhere in our invitations (not on the invitation but on one of the accompanying cards?) or maybe have a sign at the reception? I just want people to know so that everyone is still there when we have it!

I've wanted to do a sparkler exit as well... I'm thinking I would just have a bucket on each side of the entrace with the sparklers in them. Maybe include a sign indicating they should stick around for a fun exit? Obviously in some sort of fun phrase

Where do you plan on buying your sparklers? I've seen pictures with long sparklers but haven't seen them in any stores.

I've found them online but I haven't seen them in stores either. I might get them from here: http://weddingdaysparklers.com/wedding-sparklers/

I would probably use the 36" ones so that they last longer.

I'm considering a sparkler exit as well. What I would suggest is putting them next to the door in the buckets with little signs ("Please stay til the end, and send us off to our married lives with a little bit of sparkle"). Then also put a similar sign next to the guest book. People may not notice the ones at the doors, but most people would be signing the guest book I think and then would notice the sign next to it.
