Cool Catholic connections to my wedding date

My fiance and I got engaged on Pentecost and we're getting married on Pentecost.  Not planned that way but hey, the Holy Spirit is pretty awesome.

And John Paul II has been an inspiration to me since my HS days (my confirmation name is Carol after his birth name) and I just realized our wedding date is on his birthday!

I know it is sort of silly but I'm super excited about all of the above.  :)

    That is cool :) 

    My wedding falls on Christ the King day. The other day I was at meeting of Young Adult Catholics that I belong to, and the priest was talking about the permanent seals on our souls we get from Baptism, and Confirmation, and then he also said "The Marriage Seal" and I started to feel all excited and happy at how beautiful the sacrament of Marriage is.

    Wikipedia tells me that we're getting married on the feast day of St. Louis. That makes me pretty happy because we both study Medieval history, and Louis IX aka St. Louis is definitely part of my research on medieval kingship and piety. Also, several of my maternal relatives were named for St. Louis, so I think that he's been a popular saint with my family. :)
