Marriage License/Officiant Licensed in another county. HELP!

So we are getting married in OC but our officiant is licensed to do only LA ceremonies. I don't wanna go to the courthouse days before to get "officially" married before our actual ceremony. Is there a such thing as a court house being open on a Saturday? I am so confused on what to do, becasue our officiant can't actually sign our marriage license AT our wedding. I hope this  makes sense...

I am a bit confused, California does not "license" anyone to do ceremonies.  A church typically gives the "official" ok on that.  So if someone is ordained by church in LA that means they are ordained any where in CA.  Marriage licenses are issued by the state not a city or county.  I think your officiant can certainly sign the license even if it is in OC.  PS, California does not keep any records on who is ordained to do marriages.  I could basically start my own church, call myself a priest, and marry you in CA.
