Retro and Vintage Weddings

Flowers?

I posted this on the flowers board, but just realized this was here too, so let's see what you guys think!

I'm getting married in November, and we're going with an art deco look.  What flowers might go with that?  (The bridesmaids dresses are navy, in case that helps)

  • Heh, I just went to look at one of the family wedding photos from the 20s. My grandmother has this giant armful of single-color mums of some sort (I counted 12), with huge 4-in wide ribbon strands hanging down. Not a bow, just a straight ribbon.

    But the photos all sepia tones, so I don't know much more...Rocking dropped waist dress though.
