Minor detail question about ceremony format

WHen the officiant says please stand when the bride enters does he say this while the music is playing or are the musicians supposed to stop? 

When the officiant makes an annoucement after the wedding party leaves, does he wait till the recessional music is finsihed? 

I've been to a lot of weddings, but I just cant remember.

    I was just at a wedding on Saturday and everyone just stood with the change of the music.  There was no announcement.  And at the end I'm not sure?? They do announcments at the end?

    I think everyone knows to stand when the bride enteres or when the march plays.  I don't think an announcement is necessary.  And for announcements after, usually the recession music stops after the couple leaves, and that's when the officient makes an announcement.  (Then the weddings that I've been to usually have some kind of background music playing as everyone leaves.)
