Destination Wedding Reception

I am getting married next June is Playa del Carmen, but I want to have a reception for everyone back in Kansas City when I get back who couldnt make it to the wedding.  I am thinking it should be more on the casual side, I don't want people to have to get super dressed up or anything.  Does anyone have any idea's on where I should have the reception?  There will probably be about 200 people or so.  Thanks in advance ladies :)

    If you don't want a ballroom or theatre (which to me are more formal venues) there a ton of modern loft spaces downtown.  Club 1000 is a blank space with white walls so you could do as much or little decorating as you wanted.  The Terrace on Grand is also great.  i would browse through KC Weddings Magazine or The Knot Kansas and Missouri because they have a great list at the back of venues with details about each.  HTH!
