Re: WHYYYY!!!!! It has begun!!! Please don't tell me it is the 100 day CURSE!!!
First of all, I laughed when I read that. So she basically invited herself! She might as well have gotten the information on the bridesmaids dresses and bought herself a dress as well. Since she's decided to take matters into her own hands. That is just RUDE!
In all seriousness though, you should find out how she got the information to your site. If it was from your brother or sister, then they need to let her know that you are having a "close family and close friends" event. If you can't find out who invited her, then perhaps a private email to her to let her know that you would really love to catch up with her at some point before or after the wedding but due to your tight budget, it wouldn't be possible to include her on the guest list.
Since she's not really your friend or relative, she shouldn't take offense to that. Shame on her for inviting herself!
You may have to send a lovely note, e-mail or make a call saying that your wedding and reception are by invitation only due to budgetary restrictions. A space will not be made available for her.
You can also see how your no responses come back and give her one of those spaces if you don't want to be confrontational.
Praying for your peace of mind.
Is there anyone who cannot attend that was invited. If she is the only one that invited herself than I would go ahead and let her come. No need to stir up a possible family feud over one person. Now if multiple people invited themselves then thats another story. I've been told to expect either 10% to no show or 10% to attend unexpectedly. This way you don't stress.

Anyway......you should find out who gave her the website and information & tell them to not do that again...lol. And yes......send her an email to let her know that you only have seats reserved for those who received a STD.
Is there a way you can put on the website "by invitation only" or something like that? Just to let "visitors" know that the rsvp is only for those who received a STD in the mail.
Question: What site are you ladies using for the rsvp's?
[QUOTE]OMG! Poeple have nerve! I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Question: What site are you ladies using for the rsvp's?
