New to this board - I didn't know it existed!

Hi everyone!  I am still familiarizing myself with the Knot (just figured out PMs today, for example lol), and I had no idea this board was here.  I'm very happy to have found it, and I just want to say hi and introduce myself:

I'm Sarah, and my fiance is Nigel.  We got engaged about 2 weeks ago, and I'm still over the moon with happiness.  We live in New York and are hoping for an outdoor wedding somewhere upstate. 

I'd love to meet some of you ladies as well, so please say hi and tell me about yourselves if you get a chance :)

    Hi Sarah, and welcome!  Congratulations on your engagement!

    My name is Jessica, and my FI is Jon.  We live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we're having an outdoor wedding also, local to where whe live.  We're getting married in less than a month, and so it's finally starting to feel super real to me, and that's exciting.

    This board is one of the newer ones on TK, so it gets traffic in spurts.  So if you don't get a lot of responses right away, that's why.  But it is a good and friendly group of ladies here on the IRW board.  Feel free to share your ideas, ask questions, and even vent if you need to.  Happy planning!

    I'm Shandra and MH is John. We've been married since June of 2010 and are enjoying every day of our marriage. I wish this board was in existence when I was busy planning our wedding, but I am excited to see this board finally on TK.

    Hi Sarah! Congrats on your engagement. Im courtney. My Fiance and i have been engaged since 8-9-10. We live in Illinois but are getting married right outside of phoenix on 4-13-12. I've been in and out lately because of my work schedule but this board is full of sweet ladies who are very willing to help with anything. Feel free to jump right in!!

    Ahh I feel bad. I love this board but I forget to check in =(  Welcome Sarah! Congrats on the engagement. I'm Rachel, and my FI's name is Arjay. I'm from St. Louis, MO, and I've still got about 9 months left to plan. Getting married in April 2012, and hoping we dont have one of our infamous Midwest spring thunderstorms on our day!

    Welcome to the board for everyone.  I don't check in nearly enough.  I'm Tanya and my FI is James.  We have a church wedding coming up in 9 days.  Enjoy your engagement it goes by really fast.  We got engaged June 2010 and it seemed like such a long time but it really flew by.  The thing I learned was to make sure to take time to really enjoy being engaged.  It only happens once.
