Flower girl gifts

I'm starting to think about purchasing some bridal party gifts now to cross things off my list and spread things out (wedding is October 12, 2013)

I have purchased from this etsy seller in the past and really like her work. Is this appropriate for a flower girl gift?

Is it enough alone? Should I include an inexpensive ($20 or so) necklace/jewelry as well? Or, something else larger, alone? (Higher end jewelry?) I'm not quite sure of what is the "norm"

    I think it is cute!  

    If you wanted to add in something else maybe you could do something non-wedding related - like a toy to keep her busy the day of.  I am planning on doing this - getting a small tote bag and filling with some dollar stores toys to keep her occupied for the long day.

    I'm getting married the same day! I love the gift for your flower girl. My 5 yr old nieces (flower girls) will be 6 by wedding day and I was going to do a necklace for them that matched the bracelets I had in mind for my bridesmaids. They've never been in a wedding before and I remember as a little girl being super nervous before a wedding... So I'm thinking of doing some cute princess like PJs, a movie and maybe some cute little spa like things for them to enjoy the night before.

    I'm actually quite bitter over the fact that I was never a flower girl! My cousin got married when I was 8 and didn't use me. :( 

    Her sister's daughter is going to be one of my flower girls, and she is also 8. Clearly I need to get over this, but it's kinda funny!
