Belize, Puerto Rico or Mayan Rivera in October?

We are trying to decide between Belize, Puerto Rico and Mayan Riviera for our HM in early October...what are the pros and cons of each, ie. weather, food, things to do etc? Thanks

    It really depends on which resort you stay at.

    I've been to Riveria Maya twice in October (HM at Secrets Maroma Beach and bro's DW at Iberostar) and both times we had fabulous weather, low 90's and sun.

    been to PR (san juan and old san juan) 3x and enjoy it there. like PP said-lots to do. have been to cancun/rm 9 times (every december). i enjoy it immensely. there's so much to do/see/eat/ day trips etc...
    haven't been to belize.
    wondering though-have you done any research on these areas since you're asking about weather and things to do.....

    I have done research on all 3 locations but I believe information from people who have actually visited the place is way more valuable then what you read online from the tourist bureau of the location.

    I've been to Belize and totally love it... love the beach, the jungle, the history, friendly people, etc... we did the mayan ruins, ziplining, cave tubing snorkeling with sharks, etc... would love to go back there again... i posted my comments about it several times on this forum in the last few weeks - whenever someone asks about Belize...so you can probably just search it and read thru the comments...

    I would keep in mind that for all three of these locations, weather in October can be variable since it's the end of hurricane season for the Caribbean. Maybe consider some destinations not in that belt directly as well, though you'll still have a chance of rainy season weather. Costa Rica, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Trinidad & Tobago, or Barbados could work. Regardless, make sure you have travel insurance!
