i own a wedding dress! long!

Ok, here's the update! wedding dress = best birthday present ever!

we went back to darlynns, and I tried on the dresses i had narrowed down- there were 3, plus two others that i decided to try for the first time. i am so glad i didn't purchase on saturday- the dress i loved just wasn't doing it for me! i ended up buying the VERY FIRST dress i put on saturday! it's an allure dress, i will post a pic as soon as I can find one! i would have never tried the dress on because i'm so short, i didn't think it would work- but it's totally the one and has everything i love!

and, we decided to go with the black strapless BM dress from DB! i had my sister try it on, because she's the most "busty" of the bridal party, and it looked great on her!

goals for the week: put deposits on the catering & dj!

FI and I are off to meet with the travel agent! have a great day everyone!

    Very exciting! I bought my dress from there too and thought they were very nice. I'm still looking for BM dresses. Did you get those from the Darlynns as well?

    No, we went with the BM dresses at david's bridal- I looked at the similar dress at Darlynns, but liked the DB dress more. It was also cheaper (99!!), so I am going to pick shoes for the girls to buy as well- my goal was to keep it at 150.
