How Much for Engagement Photos?

Hello ladies! This is my first post on the CA boards. I live out here in the Los Angeles area, but am getting married in New Jersey because that's where my family is.

Anyway, the point of my post...

What is a reasonable price for engagement photos? A friend of my co-worker can do it for $300. That includes the session and a disc of all the photos? Is that high? Low? Reasonable? I have absolutely no idea!!!!!

I think that's reasonable. We got ours for $200 .

We're having ours done for $250 with all of the picture rights and Laura Laing does them for $130. She's an up-and-coming photographer

We had our just done last week BUT we locked in the prices last year when we booked Nataly Lemus for the wedding. The e-pics were $200 and if I am correct her rate now is $300.

So yes that sounds about right. But I think if you are looking to spend less but great quality I also 2nd Laura Laing, she's new but her pics are so beautiful

I think it sounds correct. I do know that some photographers will do the e-session for free if you book them for your wedding. Of course, these photographers charge $3000 or more for the wedding.

yes that does sound about right. I also suggest Laura - she is great to work with and give you ALOT of pictures too.
