Anyone ever tried it? There's a new shop in the Mall at Robinson and I am curious. I am not great at doing them myself, and they're so fine that waxing turns into a mess.
I had this done once in Turkey The person who did it didn't speak any English, and I didn't speak any Turkish, so that was... interesting, but it turned out fine. It was very fast. I'd say it hurts more than plucking but less than waxing, if that helps at all. FI went to the same place for a haircut while we were there, and they surprised him and did HIS eyebrows too, haha!
Ooooh where, where? I haven't had my eyebrows done professionally since I lived in DC (4 years!) because I am allergic to wax. And I think the only Pittsburgh place google ever turned up was a shop in Shadyside, and that's not convenient for me to get to. But Robinson I can do!
Threading is pretty much like tweezing, but faster
I'm not sure, but that could be it! Have a real store in the mall makes me think there's probably more than one. Do I have to stop tweezing for a certain amount of time before going? Though I guess they'll just do whatever's there at the time.
They'll shape whatever's there, but if you really want to maximize the benefits, I'd stop plucking now. The results of threading last as long as waxing - so somewhere between 2-6 weeks depending on your hair growth.
Thanks Missizz! Did anyone coming out of there look like their eyebrows got butchered? I always have to scope out a few people who are leaving before I'll let anyone touch my brows :P
