The RSVP deadline was last Monday and I still haven't received 25 responses...Wedding is in 26 days...How did/will you all handle no response? My feelings obviosly wouldn't be hurt if I could save that money lol. But I know some of them are gonna just show up...At what point did you call? If they don't answer/respond when you reach out to them then what? And some that I've reached out to that have not sent in the RSVP said " I dont have to eat" WTH?!!! Thats not an option! We can't tell the venue, give me 170 chairs but only 100 will be eating. Your seat comes with a plate!!! They're like well I'm not sure yet....But you've known since last March  when the wedding would be-_-  ::Vent over:: lol

    It depends on who it is that doesn't respond. Close family and friends I'll give a call and see what's good everyone else, oh well. When does your venue need the final count?

    What TL. If your date has already passed I would be on the phone calling. Express the urgency of how you need a final count for catering purposes. Advice them If they cant make up their minds the night before the final head count is needed you will assume they're not coming and mark them as a NO. 

    This is what Im afraid of..ugh

    I sent a text out to remind everyone that if they still planned on coming they had better let me know ASAP. After that folks started calling, texting facebooking me etc.

    I agree with TL and MrsBad....you need to know.. if isn't an option to JUST SHOW UP.. and come on now...you know when they get there they're going to want to eat.... Its 3weeks away... how can they NOT know by now...either you're coming or not..point blank..

    Thanks loves, the venue is letting me tell them the week before & nursing I agree completely lol they're gonna see everyone else eating and want some food. That would never be an option for me...I'm contacting everyone & they have to know for sure by this Friday or they will have to see the pics after :)

    Call now and inform them the venue needs a final count, and i know this isnt etiquette but i thnk id be ready to also say "because I need to know how much money Im spending"....the unfortunate thing is that some ppl will say "fine yeah put us down" and NOT show up....and you make sure you hold that ish over they head dammit.....for me $46 a head aint no joke!

    cane I don't know that i'd worry about polite at this point.   Cha had this either on her rsvp card or the website or both and it was incredibly effective:    If you do not respond, you will not be granted access.  Now she put in way nicer terms, but the point i'm making is you don't even have to mention the venue, if I don't have an answer, you don't have a seat and for my purposes, no answer is a no.

    eta:  errch, stop the car, aquari did you just say $46 a head?  american money?  girl,  geography is a mess, I would kill somebody on live television to get that price.  lol.
