I went to Manhattan Bridals after calling them after finding a dress i loved online. I didnt like it in person as it was red, but they did have me try on other similar styles. I found one i loved! I asked to come back a week later to show my family the sample. Patty (store owner) sold the sample dress but never called to tell me, so our family came and there was nothing to show them. While there i figured mistakes happen, and my flower girl (Kayla) found a dress she loved. I ordered and paid upfront for them both. 5 months later, I emailed Patty to see if my dress was in and asked about Kays dress. She called to let me know that my dress was in, but also that Kays dress was never ordered, and disconntinued. She would give me a full refund but couldnt help me otherwise. I made an appt with her for a fitting for my dress reguardless. When i went to the appt. she said she never wrote it in the book and would have to wait while she assisted other customers first. She also told me there would be additional charges as any regular customer would have for the alterations. I told her i was allset after everything that had happened. I'd take my dress as is, ill go some place else to someone who wants to try to help me and will appreciate my business. In the show room she told me if i had something to say, to say the truth, only to protect her other clients at the time. This is the truth, i gave her the benefit of the doubt several times. Its not worth your time, frustration, and patience!
