Need an awesome photog near LA

Love artsy original ideas but on a budget (ideally would like to stay under 4k for an engagement session/ 2 photogs/ all proofs and more if possible)  Would love to find someone just starting out but with potential or someone training under an amazing photog.  Not too into the trendy vintage look..prefer crisper images...pls send any recs!

We used Hazelnut Photography and were REALLY pleased with our pictures. Our package was well under $4,000, though I am not sure what her current rates are.

Her style sounds like what you are looking for, and she was a true professional to work with. Always quick to respond via email, sweet personality, and non-obtrusive when getting shots at the wedding. There are so many good pictures, I'm not sure how we'll narrow them down for our album! :)

Check out SoCalSunshine Productions.  We are getting two photographers for 6 hours, all our images, and a Graphistudio album for under $4k.  They are a husband/wife team and very personable.  A coworker used them and her album was amazing, I can't wait for mine!

Oh, forgot - we also have an engagement session and print rights.  Smile

This is our photographer (it's a husband and wife team) and they should fit within your budget. Our package includes two photographers, an engagement session, album, and a CD with the rights of all the pictures for less the $4k.

check out his blog so you can get a feel for his style.

Check out our photographer. www.robgreer.com. We just had our engagement session plus we also got him 8 hours day of wedding plus an assistant for 6 hours. I think he's worth taking a look at. We were right around your budget too.

    Good luck!

Check out mu photog: Nataly Lemus
Our wedding has been passed but when we booked her she was under $1500 if Im not mistaken. That was 2 years ago. I'm sure her prices are still affordable.

Hello girls, this is my first post here, but I thought I would let you know I'm using my cousins photographer she used last year www.collinameyerphoto.com . I believe their photos are still up too  so you can see how she did with someone I actually know. They are wonderful and UNDER $1000. We love them!  They are in Camarillo or Thousand Oaks area I believe, haven't done all the details with them yet but they are who we are using.

I couldn't afford him but my friend had hers taken with this guy Joey Ikemoto.  Great photos.  He's about $2500+.  Mine will be Austin O' Brien; he's about $1700 starting.  I think he does amazing work, so I feel that I'll be in good hands.  My friend Bea from studiostremy.com did my engagement photos.
