I was looking at your blog and saw a couple of awesome DIY things you made.  How much did it cost you to make that cake topper?  I love it.  Also, the wax seals are totally awesome. So, once you made them, how did you get them to stick to the invitations and thank you cards?

    Hey!

As far as the cake topper goes, I think it cost me about $20 for the big "C".  I had bought a bunch of rhinestones off of Ebay right after we first got engaged. I have been using them on a lot of things to add little bits of sparkle here and there.  I ordered the cake topper from Crafty Eddy, who seems to be a pretty popular guy here on TK.

And, the wax seals I actually got off of Ebay too.  I had seen stuff for wax seals at Hallmark, but it was like $20 for about 15 sticks of wax. So, I did some research, and found great prices on Ebay (can ya tell I like the place)??
To make them, you use a glue gun.  So, the wax is applied directly onto the surface of what you want to attach it to.  They are so SUPER easy, and are a neat little touch.  They are supposedly a lot tougher than using candle-wax type things too.

Let me know if you have any other questions :-)
