Columbia Winery

After months of searching, we have decided on a June wedding at the Columbia Winery - has anyone been to a wedding there or had their wedding their (or also booked for an upcoming wedding there?).  I'm a little worried that they're switching caterrs (and at that would love any reviews of A Platinum Event catering or Lisa Dupar catering).  I'm planning remotely (I live in CO), so any reviews/advice is welcome!  Thanks in advance!

I have been to Columbia Winery for wine tastings  and my fiance and I looked into having our wedding there (we got engaged next door at the Willows Lodge) but I have not been to a wedding there yet. As for Lisa Dupar, she is wonderful! She catered my brother in law's (soon to be) rehearsal dinner, great presentation and wonderful food! I also have eaten at her restaurant, Pomegranate Bistro here in Redmond-AMAZING!! So do not fret, if she has taken over catering at Columbia, your guests will be delighted Laughing

Lisa Dupar catering is great. Top notch really. If anything, I'd be prepared for the catering cost to maybe rise as a result, but then I don't know who was in charge of their catering before.

Honestly, I was turned off that Mary Kay Letournau and Villy got married at Columbia Winery. I would not want to get married at the same place as them. That might be stupid, but I care about that kind of stuff.

i havetn sorry!! but they always have the wedding albums out there and its so pretty!! The bridal room is really nice and all the pictrues in the barrel room is cool too!!! Congrats on picking a place! :)

If you're still kind of deciding and were looking into otehr alternatives in woodinville, next door is Januik Novelty hill and they have a nice set up too!! As well as DeLille Cellars and willow lodge :)

We are going to look at Columbia this weekend. I have been in contact with dupar catering and so far are very proff and willing to completely work within our budget for the best set up possible. We are getting married in May in one of the indoor rooms

Luckily the Mary Kay thing is very dated and anyone outside of the Seattle bubble barely remembers who she is.  I know local media is fixated on that relationship, however the location is beautiful, the service great so far and I'm sure any venue has held weddings for people who don't have a good morale character - mine just happen to be marginally famous! :)  Way to take it all in stride, right?!?!
