Mayfield Park and Umlauf Garden

Anyone been to or had a wedding at Mayfield Park or the Umlauf Sculpture Garden? Thoughts?

    Ive seen a wedding and several photo shoots at Mayfield, but I think they have some strict sound and decor regulations.

    I know someone who attended a wedding at Umlauf and they were thoroughly impressed.

    i've been to a wedding at umlauf and it was beautiful.  the only problem was that it poured (insanely) that morning, so they had to move the ceremony under a roof - which wasn't nearly as pretty as the original location in the gardens.  other than that, it was great.

    mayfield does have some strict rules. for the ceremony, you can only have a couple chairs for those that cannot stand. i think you have to be out of there pretty early as well and can only have acoustic music i believe.

    My daughter just got married at Mayfield April 10 2010.  The weather was perfect.  It was absolutely beautiful..  The kids had a blast.  The pictures are beautiful. Peacocks all over.  We had a DJ who kept the music loud enough to party, but not too loud to disturb the peacocks.  The get to screaching when disturbed.  It was great. beyond my expectations.  Check it out if your a gambler on the weather cooperating.  There is a  house with a large enclosed porch for plan B if it rained.

    I got engaged at Mayfield park and it is absolutely beautiful there! I wouldnt change a thing! All of our pictures and video turned out great because the landscaping is soooo pretty! Everything was perfect!

    fyiagent99 - does your daughter have any vendor reviews? We've got Mayfield Park reserved for April 14th, 2012 - SO EXCITED!!!!
    But I'd love to know about music and lighting options.

    We're planning on 3pm ceremony but I'm worried about lighting once we hit dusk. The park closes at 9pm so it won't be a late night :)
