Knowing all of what wedding planning entails, including the stress and everything else that comes along with it, if you were given a choice to go through the process again, would you elope or go through with planning a wedding and why?

    I would plan a wedding all over again, but I don't think I would worry so much about what others think. Honestly, that in itself would save a TON of stress and money! I'm so glad I decided to go with my heart and plan the wedding in Jamaica that I always wanted, but I probably wouldn't have gone through with a wedding party. That also gave me grief, lol. But I think that's about it.

    elope or do a DW and just celebrate when we came back.

    Elope or do a courthouse wedding. Less planning=less stress.

    I would plan a wedding again because I eloped the first time and my father did not get to walk me down the aisle. I regret that because he is no longer with us but having my brother walk me down the aisle will be my father doing it in spirit.

    I would still plan the wedding - our planning has been relatively stress-free since we started so early.  Now I know we will be extra stressed in the months/weeks leading up to the big day, but so far we've both had fun during the planning process and it's brought us closer to each other as well!

    I would still plan a wedding, but a bit more intimate and not everyone and they mama,lol.

    Elope for sure ! Avoid stress and extra arguments with the family and fi.

    I would have a courthouse wedding or a destination wedding.  I really need a vacation and now that I'm spending so much on the wedding, I can't afford a trip.

    Definitely a destination wedding! It would be so much less stress and a much smaller budget because of the smaller guest list--which is what FI and I wanted from the beginning.

    We eloped the first time so I am actually happy to be planning a wedding now, so Yes I would do it all again, and again!

    Nah, I only wanted to play a wedding once.   I was happy with that. 
    But if we ever renew our vows I definitely want to elope.  Just me and him on a cliff overlooking the ocean..haha!

    If we had to do it over again we would do a destination wedding.  Less stress, less panning, even fewer people and cheaper.

    I would probably do a destination wedding, we would save a ton of money and the people who could afford to come would.  It would probably be more intimate as well and less stressful.  That's how I feel now but we'll see if I feel differently after our actual wedding.

    This is a good one - lets see - if you asked me today I would say destination wedding or elope for sure.  But honestly I think if I had it to do over again - I would have taken my time and researched a little more before I put my money down on anything.  People tell you that all the time - but it is hard to listen to that advice when you are just so happy and you want what you want when you want it.  I would also plan things out a lot earlier instead of being in la la land for the 1st 5 months.

    The way I have been feeling lately, I would say hands down elope but I know deep down inside that isnt really what I want...so I think I will go with planning BUT I would do it differently so I wouldnt be in certain situations like I am in now...

    I am hoping that I do not have to go through this process again but if I had to I think I would have a destination wedding. Less stress I do believe.

    I would definitely go with a smaller wedding party and have the DW that I wanted.  My FI and parents want the church wedding, so I appeased everyone.

    Excellent Question! I actually did elope. My mother was originally wanting to pay for the wedding but then it was turning out to be all of the stuff she wanted and I didn't want, so off to the courthouse I went. I have actually never regretted the elopement but always knew we would renew our vows. So now that time has come. We are paying and we make all of the decisions but I'm older and wiser, so I do give my mom a few things she wants also.
