Alterations?

Hello all, I have not visited this board at all before.  I am getting married this July in Pa, but go to school in Ohio.  I am a senior in college and am graduating in May.  It looks like I might be taking a job out in Ohio so I may be needing to get my wedding dress altered out here.  Do any of you have any suggestions?

Is the Toledo David's Bridal any good?  Do any of you have any suggestions in Findlay, Lima or that area?  All I need is a hem, bustle and some beading underneath my arms to be taken out so my arms do not get irritated.  TIA Ladies :)

Pat Thomas is an awesome seamstress.  She did such an amazing job with my dress.

Don't go to David's Bridal for the alterations!

Like PP said, Pam Thomas is amazing.  She does great work, and she is very inexpensive for the quality!

HI! I recognize you from the July board!

Pam Thomas altered a bridesmaid dress for me and did an awesome job :) I plan on having her alter my wedding dress as well.

The DB in Toledo actually gets pretty good reviews as far as selection, employees, etc, but I don't know anyone who had their alterations done there.

I have also heard great things about Pam Thomas but not used her personally. I will be using:

    Perfect Fit Alterations
    5122 Heatherdowns Boulevard #9, Toledo
    (419) 389-1181

I have used her before with a DISASTEROUS bridesmaid dress and she worked wonders. I can't stress that enough. Also I have used her for random hemming, fixing pleats, etc. and her work is impeccable.

I have heard a ton of good things about Pam Thomas, but I have no idea how to get ahold of her. Does she own a shop? I'm assuming she's local? My wedding is in October and I have my dress but I will definitely need it altered. Any info on her would be great! Thanks Ladies! Smile
