Hi Everyone,

We have our ceremony and reception venue (Harrisburg Country Club) for October 9th, Solas Photography, and DJ Runkel all figured out so now I'm starting to think about Save the Dates and Invitations.  I don't know where to begin with this as far as online sites versus going to actual stores to look at options.  We want something that is very reasonable in price.  I also think we want to do the magnets as save the dates.  Any advice would be great!!

    I would check out vistaprint.com. I used them for a lot of things, and their prices are very reasonable (look online for coupon codes).

    Also, I wish someone had suggested this to me, so I will put it out there for you- take it or leave it...

    As your wedding approaches and you nail down more details, you might wish you had more money in the budget for things that are important to you rather than budgetting $75 for great auntie muriel's dinner. So, send STDs to people who you know you absolutely want there... very close family and friends... not everyone on the guest list. People who want to be there to celebrate with you will find a way to do it, even with only 6-12 weeks notice. 

    That is what I wish I had done.

    Honestly, I would just get them done at Office Max. They look proffessional and you can get everything to match (escort cards, programs, etc). Other than that they are extremely inexpensive. I looked around a lot for invitations and after it was all said and done, I designed my own pocket folds (PIB) by using Office Max and they were great!
