How long after the RSVP date are you ladies waiting to start to call guests that haven't sent it in?A week?

I will probably wait about 3-5 days. Our caterer doesn't need our head count until ten days out so we have some time between the due date and when we HAVE to know.

I already started, and my RSVP date was July 1st, so I think one week out is plenty of time to wait. The people who've gotten back to me all just totally forgot to mail it back so waiting longer probably wouldn't have made a difference.

Our RSVP date is on a Monday and I intend to start calling that Thursday. I figure I have to give enough time for those who drop it in the mail on the day-of!

My rsvp date was July 1st and I'm still getting RSVPS (I had 4 in the mailbox this morning).

ER thats so annoying
I just realized the 20th is a Friday and I don't need to give anything until a week and a half later to the caterer. So I'll give people the weekend ot drop it in, and probably start calling on the 26th...

Our RSVP deadline was the 1st. We've had a few people contact us this week about booking flights and to let us know they are definitely coming.

I'm waiting one week. Today's our deadline, and our caterer doesn't need the final count until 7/25.

I would say any thing from 3-7 days.

My RSVP date is Wed, 7-18 and I plan to start calling Sat, 7-21. I'll either catch lots of people at home or get lots of voice mails!

I'd say mine have been like half and half. There were a lot of family members that just "forgot" to RSVP, and so they've been mostly accepting. I've had a couple of declines, and still a lot who haven't responded at all!

I had a lady call me in a panic yesterday to apologize for not RSVPing in time and wanted to make sure she could still come. I told her our RSVP date wasn't until July 31st and she still has plenty of time. Turns out the font on our invites makes the 1 really tiny compared to the 3, so it doesn't kind of look like July 3rd (using poor grammar, of course!) This may have worked to our favor! : )

My RSVP date is a month out from our wedding but since July 8th is a Sunday, I'll probably wait untl Thursday for those that got dropped in this weekend.

My rsvp date was yesterday, im planning to start calling Monday or Tuesday. that gives time for people who put theirs in the mail yesterday. My mom has been hasseling people since my bridal shower 2 weeks ago. I asked her not to, I told her they stil have time and she would say things like "well this person is hard to get a hold of so I wanted to talk to her now" or "well they need to be reminded because they didn't do it yet." Every time she sees or talks to someone she tells them to send their response in. It has been driving me crazy. I don't know why she feels the need to micromanage everyone around her. She wanted to start calling people a week before responses were even due, luckily I convinced her not to.
