    Basically it puts your resume on the top of the list.

    I thought it was just for civil services, but that might have changed. H is telling me there was a recent change to the old legislation but I'm unable to find anything in my quick internet search. I was under the impression it gave you "preference" among other well qualified candidates if you're job hunting because your spouse had to PCS, but does not guarantee or create positions for you. I definitely need to do some research on this though, since I'll be job hunting in a few months!!
