can't decide between favors?!

Hi girls-

I need some help--

My wedding is this June and at first I was going to do salt water taffy favors.  For the personalized box and 5 pieces of taffy it was going to be $3.50 a favor.  We are planning on having around 100 people so that would be approximately $350 for favors.
Now-our cocktail hour is going to held in a wine cellar, so I thought maybe to keep with that theme I was going to get heart-shaped wine bottle stoppers for favors.  They are cheaper if ordered in bulk so I would be saving about $100 if I choose to do this favor.
I know edible favors seem to be the way to go, but I'll be able to save money if I go the non-edible way.  Do you think I should choose the bottle stoppers instead of the taffy?
I am not crafty or patient enough to design or do my own favors so, I am looking for the easiest and least stressful route to go.  I'm just curious to see what your thoughts are on this matter. 
First it was the invitations driving me crazy--now it's the favors!!  Thank you for your input!!  Smile

    I like the wine stoppers!  Goes with the theme, and your guests will definitely make use of them!

    I would prefer the wine stopper, but I like wine.  Know that some people do not and it may go to waste or be left behind.

    Or you could go with something completely different.  Instead of favors, we just had sangria and beer all night long and our guests were perfectly content.  No one said anything about their lack of a favor.

    I like the wine stoppers as long as you don't personalize them.

    I already have a ton of wine stoppers so I would probably just give mine away. I know you said you aren't crafty but salt water taffy is really simple to make, you could always DIY a few weeks before the wedding. I bet you could buy all the supplies for less than $30.

    We are doing wine stoppers. I like the idea of a non-edible favor myself.

    I don't like wine and neither does my FI so we would take them to be considerate but probably give them away. If you're looking to save money, skip the favors. You could always use that money for something extra at the bar or we're going to do a 9pm appitizer so our guests don't feel they have to leave if they get hungrey later in the evening. We're doing picture frames as our favor as well.
