Show me your.....RD invites!

I am trying to figure out wording for these. We are planning on putting the RD invites right in with the wedding invitations, but we still want to acknowledge that FI's parents are hosting. Thoughts? I would love to see everyones!!!

Ours haven't come in yet, but FMIL ordered them from VistaPrint. Are they supposed to be mailed out with the wedding invitations?

Separately. Due to size of the room it has to be strictly people involved with the wedding. Some of the invites going to couples are going to the person not involved in the wedding so we're sending them out early May probably

I thought about doing cute invitations, but FI's mom is hosting and we talked about it. We just plan to do it by word-of-mouth. Basically, anyone staying at the Inn that Saturday night will be invited to the RD.

We're doing a BBQ and I thought of doing really cute, casual, red/white checkered invites. Oh well ...

Woohoo a show me thread that i know before entering

IDK if i am going to bother with invites, my wp will all be with us & we are not having any other people, it will be casual at our home.

We are having a gift opening the next day (the norm here) & i think i will put an insert in the invites mentioning it, most will know but some may not, probably put it with the hotel info.

I'm not even sure if we are doing them. If we are, they will not go out for a long time. I think at our appointment 6 weeks before is when we find out our RD time. I've let people know the day and approximate time, but I have no exacts yet. At that point, we will probably just tell people.

As for the day after BBQ we found some cookout paper at Ocean State Job Lot so my aunt is going to print up something on those since she's hosting. It's going to be for bridal party and their families, our family who is normally at our beach house on weekends, and FI's mom's side of the family since it's his mom's 50th birthday the day after our wedding (might cause some issues with FI's dad so we may have to wait until later in the evening to break out the cake).

They'll be split up but if they're not in the WP/involved with the wedding, there isn't a point for them to be there. Also the room holds 35 people tops and we will be over capacity. They understand and I've talked to the one that might object but he's fine
