So this is my last Saturday before the big day. I'm a little stressed out, but not just for the wedding details. I've dealt with some major drama in my classroom over the last few weeks, to the point that we've got a meeting (with administrative support) on Tuesday morning before school starts. Because of all of that, a lot of the time that I should have been using to get final wedding details done was spent dealing with this issue, even after work. It's been one of the things that has been interrupting my sleep the last few weeks. Tuesday is also my last day at work (I put in for a sub Wed-Fri). So this weekend, I have to prepare my reports for the conference, do my detailed sub plans, AND lesson plans for the week following Spring Break and have it all ready to go by Tuesday afternoon.
For the wedding, I still have:
1. placecard trees to create
2. finish off the seating chart (still waiting on 2 RSVPs -- ARG!)
3. create gift bags for our out-of-towners
4. write the letter to go in our letter box for the ceremony
5. burn table numbers into wood discs for each guest (no namecards, but wooden discs instead)
6. finish the programs and print them
7. finalize the music
8. And of course, there are some final items I need to shop for -- nothing major, but it takes a chunk out of the day to go and get them.
9. Take my veil and my MOH's shawl to be de-wrinkled
Tonight my BM is coming over to help with some of it, so that'll be a huge relief. I just wish all the details were done so I could breathe a little before the big day. I know, my fault, but still! I've been wasting time on the computer this morning because to get up and get started means I have to deal with it all, lol. One more cup of coffee, and I'm off to climb this mountain.
For all you ladies with weddings this weekend, I hope you had/have a beautiful day and can't wait to see pictures!

It will set you free..."
