Is it important to meet the florist?
My wedding is about 2 hours out of town, and I used the venue and other referrals for most of my vendors. I had flip flopped ideas so much on the florist (mostly because I haven't a clue about flowers, and then I was surprised at the price so I bargained her down to what I felt were necessary items)...My florist and I communicated mostly over email. But now the wedding is 3 weeks away, and I called my florist so we could meet and go over some photos and final ideas, but she said she's much too busy and she'll just deliver the flowers on the day of and I can give her final payment then. I feel very put off but I've already put down a 50% non-refundable deposit.
It's making me anxious as I know she very well may be incredibly busy, but I feel that she dislikes me. Should I trust the florist knows what she's doing and has a good reputation for a reason?
