Thailand Honeymoon?

Planning my honeymoon now to Thailand and was wondering if anyone had any reccomendations for hotels in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and krabi? Looking for suggestions on things that are a must when being there. Any information would be a great help!!!

    We were in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Krabi in December.  One absolute must - the Tubkaak in Krabi.  The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with an amazing stretch of beach.  We did an island hopping day trip which, in retrospect, wasn't worth it.  Instead, I'd rent a private longtail boat to pick you up at Tubkaak and take you to the Hong Islands.  Maya Bay is a tourist nightmare!

    In Chiang Mai, we stayed at the Aruntara.  It was nice, but I didn't love the location.  If I could choose over again, I'd look at the Chedi, the Le Meridien or the Shangri-La.  While in CM, we did a day of cooking classes (A Lot of Thai - awesome), a day at Patara Elephant Farm (worth the money!), and hired a private driver to take us to some of the wats, Tiger Temple (eh...just ok), and some other random stops.  

    Loved the night markets in Chiang Mai!

    Have a great hm!  Thailand is one of my absolute favorite places in the world.

    FI and I are going to Thailand for our HM in June. I planned the whole trip through Agoda.com (hotels), expedia.com (international air), and vayama.com (domestic air). 

    We are also going to Krabi and after much deliberation we chose to stay at the Amari Vogue. Check out tripadvisor and agoda for their reviews. 

    GIRLINCHICAGO - if you have anymore pointers regarding day trips... please let me know! I am trying to plan that.

    We are staying in Krabi for 6 nights, Koh Phi Phi Don for 4, and Bangkok for 4. I'll take whatever info you can share! :)
