Engagement pics

So yesterday in the sweltering, disgusting heat of the city, we had our e-pics with Jen Lowe.  Love her just as much as I remembered!!  Anyway, the days before were absolutely crazy and I was not at all prepared for this - wardrobe wise.  I'm generally a pretty casual person (as is the guy), so I just went with jeans and a cute top, but looking back at other engagement shoots, everyone is so dressy and cute!  Please reassure me that I won't look like a slob, and even better, if you dressed casually for your e-pics, please show me!!

(I will also try not to dwell on the fact that a skirt or even capris would have felt so much better with the 100 degree heat index!)

    I wore jeans and cute tshirt.  That's me.  It worked out well...didn't look like a slob.  And I'm sure you won't either.

    We wore jeans and t-shirts, and ours turned out well. Actually, I really loved how much color and texture there was in our jeans.  I also didn't wear a terribly large amount of makeup for either e-pics or wedding pics (ie. not heavy on the eyeshadow, no foundation) and it was not an issue.

    I forgot to change into my sneakers and wish I'd remembered to do so since we went to Rocks and flip flops don't work so hot for climbing around there.

    I guarantee you will look great!  I wore a sweater and a pair of black pants.  DH wore a button down shirt and jeans.  It was very casual and that's who we are.  I'll be stalking her blog - can't wait to see your photos!  :)

    We're also in the jeans crew... I think casual is how they should be... the wedding is the day to be dressed up!  The engagement pics are supposed to epitomize the bride and groom to-be being themselves in love... You won't look like slobs at all :)

    Don't worry!  If you wore something that is flattering, you felt comfortable in, all that matters is that you had fun!  That's what will shine through.  I can't wait to see them!

    As long as what you wore is you then I think you'll be fine!   If I had more plain t-shirts I would have just worn jeans and a t-shirt.  All my t-shirts have stuff written on them though, and that's not something I wanted to have in my pictures.
