Whew!!

We needed 36 no's and we got them!!! They were all from people who we didn't expect to come. Whew.

Got a very weird RSVP back today from my cousin. He's always been a bit odd, well he sent back a card and stuffed in it was our entire wedding invitation (blank RSVP, directions, response envelope with the stamp, and the actual invitation) and he wrote how he was sorry that he couldn't make it beacuse he missed too many days of work in April & May and how he was starting a new job in June. Um.... Okay. Thanks? Haha!

SO WEIRD that he mailed his entire invitation back. I actually was laughing out loud as I was imagining you pull the crumpled pieces of his invitation out of an envelope. Maybe he thought you would re-use it??

Glad you got your no's. I didn't realize that FI and I over invited until we just tracked down all the RSVPs. Glad we got a lot of no's.

Gotta love the weird ones. My FI's aunt added an additional stamp to the RSVP envelope on the side where the return address should have been! So this little tiny RSVP card, had 88 cents worth of postage on it!!

Congrats on the No's. We are hoping for 20 more (don't think we'll have a problem getting it, but keeping our fingers crossed).

LOL i love that he sent everything back! The best rsvp I have gotten back was from my FI god father. He filled it with glitter and when FI opened it he was covered in it!!

He also wrote " Lets see Pam girl (his gf) and I. About 10 of my friends will be released fom prison by your wedding day. I will bring 2 pygmies that live next door to me cuz there fun people, until they get drunk and shoot their blow guns. I will bring 6 guys from home depot to help clean up the hall after the wedding. I will bring 1 homeless guy for my designated driver. I will bring 4 ugly people to make me look good, but I need to stand next to them. I'll bring 1 600lb guy to make me look skinny. Total 26 people-if for any reason these people cant make it, it will be just pam girl and I."

When I texted him and asked the names of who he was bringing for our Escort cards & to find our if they were coming to the Wedding or Reception or both all he said back was You're Welcome. WTH?!

We've gotten a handful of nos, and a few where one person of the couple can make it, and not the other. Some of the nos make me sad, but that just means its $$ back in my pocket.

Congrats to those of you waiting for your nos!

I had 2 friends (sisters) who sent their rsvps back in a new envelope and stamp with a handwritten address. But they folded the postcards, so i know they saw the stamp? Idk.

Havent gotten a full invitation back- thats pretty funny.

Congrats on your no's! We need about 13 more ourselves, though there are at least 6 that I know aren't coming and I doubt all of my friends will make the trip so I think we'll be ok. Today we got our first add on, but tis a guy coming from far away so I'm inclined to just give him a guest.

My favorite RSVP so far came from my college roommate. She wrote "What is the M for???" and then under the M wrote out "Marsupial". LOL shes cracks me up.

Lol congrats on your No's to save money.

I've only gotten 3 not coming. 83 said yes and I need a minimum of 125 as that is what my all inclusive costs are based on. Mom added 10 more and offered to cover that cost if I got 100% response.

I have until July 1st for the response. I need my numbers 2 weeks prior and this gives me a week to track down and a few days with the July 4th no mail holiday to allow late responses to find their way home.

Congrats on getting all your no's! This is one of the things I'm most worried about. We over invited a bit because our venue has a 90 person minimum but a 110 person maximum. Seriously?

Congrats on your no's!! Someone used the M on my card to write the start of their first name Mary.... such an odd ball to do that. I only need/want ten more no's and I'm pretty sure I will get them! I did get my first no that was really sad yesterday, my great-uncle can't make it because he's too old. He was the only person in my family left in his generation since all my grandparents are dead and so are the rest of their siblings

. I also got word tonight that one of my mom's first cousins can't make it because she needs hip replacement surgery, another sad/disappointing no. And of course she wrote some sappy letter to my mom that made us both tear up.

Whew!!
