Need good, reasonably-priced alterations place in Dayton

I am needing a bridesmaid dress hemmed (it's a bit too long) with straps added to it. Nothing major, but I wanted to be sure that I was choosing an bridal alterations place that would not rip me off and is reliable.

I live in Beavercreek, OH, so any place in here/Dayton area would be preferrable. Thanks!

  • Try Price Department store in downtown Dayton.  They have a formal floor and specialize in alterations for wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses. Best Wishes

  • There is a small bridal salon in Union (outside of Englewood) called Linda's Bridal and she does a fantastic job and her prices are awesome. I got an off-the-rack bridesmaids dress for my best friends wedding and it was a size 10. She made the dress a size 4 for me, and took off about 4 inches in length and it was only $60.

She also did all of the bridesmaid dresses for my wedding as well as my wedding gown. Highly recommended!

<div>LOL, Angela, I saw you replied via email and it made me laugh..I should've known you'd see this on the knot! Yeah, I just happened to talk to Shauna about this via text and it reminded me. Ijust am looking to not spend a fortune on it, that's the thing! </div>
  • I live in Beavercreek as well and I'm using Colleen Curry for all my wedding dress alterations, she has a little shop on the second floor of the wedding connection building off of Linden Avenue in Dayton.  She is so sweet, very reliable, and I thought she was reasonably priced for all the work she has done to the dress.  Her contact information can be found here http://www.daytonweddingconnection.com/meet_our_wedding_professionals/the-look/its-sew-amazing/
