I know that this is super early, but I have a friend that is going to help me design them and I just wanted to get a poll of:

1. When everyone is planning on sending them out, or if you are planning on doing them at all?

2. Are you sending them just to out of towners or to everyone that you are inviting?

3. What are you doing? ie. postcards, magnets, other creative ideas

4. Are you going to be using your E-pics on them

1. I have no idea. Maybe around October?
2. I'm planning on sending them out to everybody.
3. I'm thinking postcard style, but I'm not sure yet.
4. We don't have e-pics, and I'm not sure if we're getting them done or not. We have some really good pictures from vacation that I might use.

1. We plan on sending ours out sometime in the fall, mostly so that out of town guests can plan accordingly (I'm from Russia and I have a few friends/family members there who I'll be inviting).
2. We will send them out to everyone we plan on inviting.
3. We are thinking magnets, but not sure yet.
4. We are doing our e-pics this Sunday, and hoping to use some of them for Save the Dates.

1. We cheated and alrady ordered them and have been slowly leaking them out. Family and wedding party already got them. Friends are slowly getting them.

2. Everyones getting one. I also messed up ordering. I ordered 130 because that's the amount of people on our guest list, instead of enough for each couple/family to have one, so a lot of people got more than one, haha. I have three on my work fridge and two on my fridge at home and we still have a box and half left. Such a waste of money, ugh, I hate thinking about it.

3. We did magnets so people wouldn't throw them out or forget since we sent them stupid early.

4. We chose not to do an e-pic for ours. We put a picture of our summer camp staff whistles hanging side by side instead. We met there, fell in love there and got engaged there, so it meant a lot ot us.

I cheated too and orderd them early. We have a lot of family out of town who we havn't seen in a while, and I wanted them to have ample time to plan, take of work, save the money, whatever they needed to do. So we are porbably going to send ours out this summer.

We are sedning them to everyone we are inviting, at least that is the plan.

I went onto magnetstreet.com and ordered heart shaped save the date magnets with our picture on them.

Didn't use our e-shoot pics becuase we have been togther for 7 1/2 years and we have sooooo many pics, we really couldn't see spending money to have more taken. So I used a gorgeous one from a wedding we attended in Jamaica last summer. We ended up getting an e-shoot afterall (just shot it this past Sat, a friend of the family who is a pro photographer, though not for weddings, offered the shoot to us for free in exchange for using our pics on her website and fb page to promote) and I wish I would've waited a little longer so I could've put the professional pic on there since no one has ever seen it before.

We already came up with the concept for ours because my FSIL (brother's fiancee) is a graphic artist and she is going to make them for us. We wanted to give her a lot of time because she just got a new house and are planning their wedding also.

1. I think we'll send them out at the end of summer or early fall. I always thought it was supposed to go out 1 year in advance before I came to TK's boards LoL A few of our friends have gotten engaged recently, so I don't want to wait too long to send them out.

2. We're sending them to everyone

3. We are doing postcards, but also slipping them into envelopes to be safe. My bro and his FI sent out just plain postcards and a few people just have thought they were junk mail and threw them out.

4. We aren't doing our engagement photos on the STD's because we want to put a picture of us on the thank you cards instead. We designed a tree with two birds on the branches and our initials carved into the bark.

1- Probably pretty soon, ONLY because we are planning on a cruise for our honeymoon, but are welcoming anyone to come join us and theres about 20 people already interested, and they are jsut the ones that know about it. So once we book in about a month, we will be sending out the cruise info that way everyone can get the early bird deal and get on the same boat before it fills up. To save on postage, I am just going to send out the save the dates as well.

If it weren't for this, we were going to wait until early November before they get lost in the rush of holiday cards.

3- I made mine and printed them with Vistaprint onto large magnets with a groupon. Cost me $23 total.

4-Yes-ish, I have a pic of us in a sunflower field from a random free e-session so while I love my e-pics now, our wedding is all about sunflowers.

1. I plan on sending them out this summer! I'm so excited that I want to send them out closer to the one year mark. I've had a lot of people asking me about it so I might just send them. 2. I'm sending them to everyone 3. We are doing magnets so they don't get lost plus I think they are a nice keepsake for family. We also designed them on magnetstreet.com. They had great prices and I liked that they allowed you to completely customize the colors. I ordered free samples and they were here in two days! 4. We used our E-pics

1.) We'll probably send them out in September or October, although I want to send them out now lol

2.) We're sending them to everyone invited

3.) I found this design on the wedding chicks blog that I like so I'll probably print it out on a nice cardstock and mail those out.

4.) We'll most likely be using the wedding chicks design but if I do my own then I'll probably use a picture from Disney when we got engaged. I'm still not sure if we're doing engagement pictures.

I was originally thinking about sending ours out in December. Now I think I might send them earlier. I figure, if anyone forgets about my wedding, I don't want them there anyway.

1. We'll probably send ours at the beginning of November. One of my sisters is getting married October 20th, and she's been SUPER touchy because she's convinced that some of our family members have shown more interest in my wedding than hers, and I don't want to add fuel to that fire. I also don't want them lost in the holiday mail shuffle.

2. We're going to send them to everyone. Both of us have relatives who would make a big deal out of not getting a save the date because they're local.

3. We're probably doing postcards. I'll either print them myself or wait until I can snag a Groupon deal for online printing.

4. We're using our engagement pictures. I made a sign out of wooden letters & ribbon for us to hold in some of our shots that says "Save the date - June 22, 2013".

ill probably send mine out in august or sooner just want to get them done! i got my engagment pics done on the 5th of may just waiting to get them done! im going to make them at walmart with my engagement pic on them! like the photo cards u get from ppl at christmas time u can use them to make alot and they are cheap too!
