I've ordered my cake from Haydel's. I am still undecided on flavors. Can someone who has tasted them please tell me what's the best??? I'm doing a three tier cake and a grooms cake. Thanks in advance!!!:)

    My FI and I loved the lemon and amaretto fillings. You can get a different filling for each layer but we went with amaretto for all layers, just to keep it simple. There are so many to choose from though, so it is a tough decision! :-)

    Our favorites were praline, amaretto, and strawberry.  We are doing praline in the bottom layer, strawberry in the middle, and red velvet cake with buttercream for the top.  My FH wanted a king cake so we're getting a tiered one.  The bottom layer is original king cake. The middle layer has strawberry filling, and the top has praline filling.  Good luck!

    We went with amaretto, chocolate and praline. The top tier is also chocolate.

    Our top and bottom tiers were triple layer. We did chocolate for one filling and lemon for the other. It was a hit! An even bigger hit was the middle tier. We did chocolate cake with praline filling.
    The grooms cake was done with raspberry filling.

    All were delicious and it took me HOURS to decide.

    I am having the same issue. FI and I are going next week for our first visit and I know I am going to have a hard time. I think I am going to have to try this praline flavor you guys speak of!!!
    I do know that the raspberry and pineapple filling are amazing. My cousin got her cake there.

    No matter which flavors you go with you won't be disappointed.  I sent in a picture of what I wanted and they replicated it exactly.  For the grooms cake I wanted a soccer ball and they did an amazing job.  Great choice in a baker!

    they are doing mini king cakes for the baskets we are putting in our out of town guests hotel rooms
