So, after 4 interviews, I got the job offer:) It is an amazing job, with plenty of opportunity for financial growth, and career growth into a management position with possibilities of relocation.
In the meantime, my husband got a sudden opportunity to move into management for the chef he works for. Not at his current restaurant, but the other restaurant the chef owns at the Wynn, which is very high volume. He has pretty much been promised the job as they need someone next week, but he is interviewing today.
This is a great move for his growth, especially if we are looking to move in a year or so. As a server, he will never make anywhere close to what he makes now in Vegas. As a manager he will have plenty opportunities.
So....I have to go in today and give my two weeks notice and I am shaking and my heart is pounding already. II really love my job and my manager and I feel like I am heading into a breakup. I feel sick with anxiety right now.
