In need of Rehearsal Dinner recs please!

hello!!! My MIL is getting on my case because I am slacking when it comes to finding a place for our rehearsal dinner. My wedding is Oct 16th so I have some time but I am looking for some recommendations. The church is in Brecksville, and I am from Akron so anywhere inbetween would work. Nothing too fancy but good food is a must! We will probably have between 30 -35!!! Any ideas??

thanks!!!
Amy

Blue Canyon in Twinsburg isn't too far from Brecksville and has top notch food for the area. They could easily accommodate a guest list of 35.

If you want to keep it all in Brecksville, Creekside may be a possibility. Their party room holds up to 50. Courtyard Cafe in Brecksville has excellent food, but they are small. They may be able to accommodate your group if you're not looking at a Fri. night. I don't think they have a party room.

Carrie Cerino's in N. Royalton is awesome and they do parties of all sizes. They've been around for years and I've eaten there numerous times and attended a shower there once. I've never had a bad meal there.

Some of the restaurants in Independence may work for you, too. It would be a short (5 min?) drive up I-77 to Rockside and there are a bunch of places there with decent food.

I have been to alll the places in pp.  I second Creekside.  We are having ours at Carrie Cerinos but  it might be a little out of the way.  Creekside is yummy and is right in Brecksville.

My SIL had her wedding ceremony in Brecksville and we ended up at the Boneyard for a more casual laid back atmosphere(more fitting for the group of people)with @ 30 people.  The price was affordable, they customized a menu for them and the area we had was semi-private. It worked out great!

Also - D'Agneses in Seven Hills is a tad north but great access to 77...we had her shower there and it was great food at a great price and nice little party room for under 40 pp.

Carrie Cerino's has great food.  You could also check out Stancato's in Parma - that's where my RD was -- it worked out well.

ours was at Bucci's in Berea. Good food and they can accomodate that number of people.

Our reception was at Carrie Cerinos in N. Royalton and they have AWESOME food!  They can also accomodate. There desserts and cakes are wonderful too!

My bridal shower was at Stancatos in Parma and there food is also good! The wait service was a little ho-hum and not extemely helpful, either was the lady who booked the event, but it turned out beautiful and like i said, food was great.  Reasonable pricing also.

Try lockkeepers too. They're in Valley View. The food is fantastic and Steph is really great to work with. She did a wonderful job when I used her for a 50 person dinner. If you're interested, I have the catering menus that I can e-mail to you. Just send an e-mail to melissajosnyder@yahoo.com.
