First feedback on Invites + flower mockup

Got two texts this am "love the invite" "sooo pretty!"
I worked SO hard on teh invites so it feels so good

I went last night for my flower mock up and HATED what they had for me, it looked too 80's and old school and it was what i asked for but now how I envisioned it.

So I told the girl what I wanted she said "give me 10 minutes" and she came back with this gorgeous centerpiece

That's a really pretty centerpiece. May I ask how much $ per centerpiece that is? It looks so expensive (which is why it's beautiful!)

they were $70 each. which includes the rental of the glass. But that was BEFORE i added in teh extra stuff (like teh garden roses) So I am going to gues around $80 pp.
I am only using 4 of these, to keep costs down, and using 4 tables with just candles that are low med high and amber glass ($20 each)
Then I have 3 tables w big centerpieces that are $120 each. With bouquest and boutinerres etc my bill is around $1400

Well they are quite gorgeous, so I think they're worth it if they're in your budget. My florist told me (after we were done choosing EVERYTHING: bouts/corsages/bouquets, etc.) that my cost would be under $400. I got my proposal sheet last night and it's $477, which is around $100 more than I was anticipating. That's a lot to me where I'm at budget wise right now.

Plus that's not even including my centerpieces, which we have no idea what we're going to do. I'm so set on doing floral centerpieces that I don't know how to NOT go with them.

Everything here is so expensve. I just read online a few months ago that Rhode Island was one of the most expensive states to get married in, becuase no matter what vendors you use, they price their tings for Newport weddings- even if you are getting married far and away from Newport

What about just doing floral accents to the centerpieces?I just went to two weddings that had lanterns and then small little groups of flowers around them.
One had 3 small (i mean really small) vases with hydrangea
and another did 4-5 small little tea light holders that had like a single rose, a since dhalia. etc.
It looked really cute at both weddings

Well.. I'm so hooked on this centerpiece so I'm not sure how it would work as far as doing just touches of flowers. I thought about all carnations because they're on the cheaper side.

those are cute! and i dont think the involve a lot of flowers- esp the 2nd one. You can proabbly order those online- and then do carnations to fill. Dhalias are big and 2-3 would fill it as well
dont forget u can always do that on HALF the tables!~

I'm hoping they won't involve too many flowers. I'm looking at filler flowers like Hydrangeas, carnations, etc.

FH is actually very handy and he's going to get the birch vases made from any down trees on our property. I can't wait to assemble them!

I've thought about Sams to get bulk flowers, but I don't know if I could handle all of that DIY'ing the night before the wedding. That would be a lot to worry about!

My friend ordered her flowers from 50 flowers and the came 2 days before. She assembled everytihing that night (two nights before her wedidng) but you have to keep it refrigerated.If you are getting married near home, you could do just the centerpieces. Hydrangeas are usually 3-4 per stem and I think you could get away with doing 1-2 in each. it seems like you would have a lot of tables (like 15-17) soo I would think you could inlist the help. cut the hydragea and put it in.
I would do a trial first. I dont think it would take that long- but it would be stressful
