XP Letterpress Invitations

Does anyone know of some lower priced vendors for letterpress invitations? I would love to have these, but I am mostly finding ones that are in the $1000 range for 100. Alternatively, I would also be interested in good vendors for thermographically printed invites.

    100 1-color invitations on Strathmore 110 lbs paper = $212

    100 1-color invitations on Somerset 300 gm paper = $238

I 've heard Studio on Fire is cheaper (and SO GORGEOUS!), but they don't have a price table, so I don't know how much they cost.

http://www.etsy.com/shop/majoiepress ($650 one color, $750 for 2, with inner and outer envelopes)

http://www.etsy.com/shop/invitedink (under $700 for simple 2 colors including addresses printed on envelopes, but does go much higher)

    http://www.etsy.com/shop/anemoneletterpress ($695 for 100 1 color, $755 for 125, with addresses printed on evelopes)

www.mkprinter.com.  100 one color suites (invitations, RSVP's, and printed envelopes) there are about $580 and they have 20 designs available.  If you are okay with postcard replies, it's $120 less.  A second color is also only $90 more for invitations and $70 more for the other pieces, which seems very inexpensive.

American Wedding has a very limited selection of letterpressed invitations, but they're the cheapest I've seen.

100 Invitations and RSVP's incl envelopes for $240

You can also order letterpressed invitations from mygatsby.com I have no idea about what the quality would be like, but they're one of the few letterpress options I've seen where you can select coloured paper (and white ink!)

100 invitations and RSVP's incl. envelopes for $350

If you're going with Mercurio BRothers, I just wanted to point out...

    For 100 A7 (5"x7") invites and 100 4bar replies (3.5"x5") it's $385

But if you get a slightly smaller invitation A6 (4.5"x6.25) and print it on the same sheet as your 4bar replies (then just make a single cut yourself), it's $275

Which is a savings of $111 for a slightly smaller invitation, and one I prefer the size of anyway.

Rohner Letterpress. a set of 70 invites, detail cards, and RSVP cards, one color, for around $350.  They're super friendly and responsive.  I requested quotes from both Rohner and Studio on Fire, and Rohner was cheaper.  They're not as well publicized but still amazing I think!
  • I heard just yesterday Carlson Craft is selling letterpress invitations.  They look really nice!
