Hi everyone!!

First let me just say that I love this website and I subscribed to it way before I got engaged!!

Anyway I just wanted to share my engagement story with you all!

My baby and I (and some close friends) were going on a Southern Caribbean cruise and the ship left from San Juan, Puerto Rico. We decided to go to PR a day early since neither of us had ever been there before.

That night my boyfriend headed down to the pool area (where he refused to accompany me earlier that day, despite my persistent begging) and I was in the room relaxing. My best friend who was also joining us on our vacation decided that since this was the only beach we would be on at night we should use the opportunity to get a few sexy nighttime beach shots (Yes we are Facebook addicts and we LOVE taking pictures :)).

So we got all glammed up and headed towards the beach which is only accessible through the hotel's pool area. We got downstairs and my friend suggested that we stop and visit my boyfriend who was over in the hot tub. I had no idea where the hot tubs were and we both stopped several groups of strangers to ask them if they knew (later on I relaized that my friend knew exactly where it was and only played along as though she didn't so as not to ruin my surprised).

As we turned the corner to the hot tub I saw rose petals scattered all over the circumference of the hot tub and immediately I knew that this was the big moment. My boyfriend (holding a single stem rose) asked me to get in and I didn't miss a beat! I went right in, bathing suit cover-up and all and went right into the arms of my hot, wet, wrinkled love (who come to find out had been stewing in the hot tub waiting for me to come down for the past 45 minutes!) How could I say no to him!!
 
After going on and on about how much I meant to him and never wanting to leave my side he finally asked me to marry him!... And the rest is history!

Our vacation turned into our engagement cruise! Sweet!!!!!!!

Well, thanks for taking time to read my story. I am lucky enough to be engaged to my bestest friend in the world and even though our journey has only just begun there's no one I would rather go through life with!
