No special menus required...

    What do you and your FI like to eat?  What time of day is your wedding?

    For some reason I thought about vegetable streudel when I read your post, not sure why.

    Strawberry Romaine Salad is a nice choice and fun. It's different than regular salad but is traditional at the same time.

    When I think of "vintage country" I think of the kinds of things you'd get in a rustic French province.  Like coq au vin and ratatouille and lots of artisan breads and cheeses.
